The Purple Guy Animatronic hoax showed an alleged "new animatronic" for only one frame, a robotic version of the killer William Afton. The animatronic is sitting in the same way Withered Golden Freddy does in the game. The animatronic is all purple with a Golden Badge as the sprites represent him.
The myth was debunked, after looking inside the game-files of the game, revealing that he never existed inside the game.

- The image was probably made by editing Golden Freddy, with a purple color, and possibly also edits Withered Chica's head.
- The Golden Badge he has is most likely a stock photo.
- According to the original myth, after he appears inside the Office and leaves, the player suddenly gets killed, or either causes the game to crash.
