Mega Cat Animatronic[]
Mega Cat, or as referred to as Mega by Mega Cat Studios, is a hoax sprite based on the mascot of Mega Cat Studios. Originally created by Mega Cat Studios, but re-drawn and animated by Happy (@happyisabuxnny). Originally drawn on the 29th of August.
The sprite was originally placed in a website called ‘The Cutting Room Floor’, a site in which cut content for games is shown off. Happy put this sprite of Mega into one of the subsections of FNAF: Into the Pit with the description “An unused sprite of Mega Cat Studio’s mascot, meant to be seen backstage on chance. Removed from files on first patch.” That is where cut content creator, TetraBitGaming, found the sprite and put it into a video.
After the video was published (9th of September 2024), around 5 hours later, Mega was removed from the video’s thumbnail and was removed from the video itself. After being removed from the video, it was also removed from The Cutting Room Floor. After the video was published, around 5 hours later, Mega was removed from the video’s thumbnail and was removed from the video itself. After being removed from the video, it was also removed from The Cutting Room Floor. Interestingly, it took people around 11 days to notice that this was not actually in the files. Only after the TetraBitGaming video was posted, people in Technical FNAF started to notice it wasn’t in the files of FNAF: Into The Pit. On the 9th of December 2025, the sprite was repurposed in one of Happy’s fake game leaks based on Fetch. The sprite was re-used in parts on the Fetch sprite.
Supposed Summoning[]
The animatronic was apparently meant to be seen backstage on chance, an Easter egg character. Nothing too big. Nothing else except the idle animation were supposed to be seen, as that is the only Mega sprite in the “files”.
