FNaF: Fetch (Fanmade)[]
FNaF: Fetch was a fake game leak based on the book Fetch from the Fazbear Frights book series. The hoax was originally posted on Twitter by user @CatLeak69527, later revealed to be Happy (the creator of the Mega Cat Animatronic Hoax). The fake game leak featured three images showing the keyart of the game, and two screenshots of gameplay.
History[]
The account called “Fetch MegaCat Leak” was made on the 10th of December, and started following people. One of the people followed by the account was Dexstar who asked “Who the f***????” with a screenshot of the account. Around thirteen minutes after Dexstar posted the tweet, the account replied to him with the words “C U” and the Keyart and screenshot of the enterance. Around an hour later, the account quote retweeted its original post and posted the screenshot showing Fetch in the Prize Corner.
A bit after the first Fetch MegaCat Leak tweet was posted, someone asked a Mega Cat Studios discord moderator if the hoax was in fact real, and a moderator did confirm it was fake. And a day later the account and its creator, both posted saying it was Happy behind this, which was in fact true. Putting an end to the hoax. Fun fact, the Mega Cat Animatronic sprite (also made by Happy) was re-used in some ways to make parts of the Fetch sprite!
Supposed Game Plot[]
The player, you, are Greg. A kid who has been called to the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. In the pizzeria you find a dog named Fetch and you link it with your phone, despite it being from the 80s, a time in which modern phones didn’t exist. Fetch is a dog meant to fetch what you want, but Fetch seems to take things a bit too literally.
