Basically just a better-organized version of the main page with more sections instead of just having it split into game sections. Stuff like Fnaf 1 classic, Fnaf 1 modern, Fnaf 2 pre-release, that kind of thing. Do let me know if you guys think of any other additions.

To all people who come here to talk about how bad the wiki is, shut up. If you read discussions and replies to them, you would know that we’ve tried to fix it, but can we? Absolutely not. *I* plan on making a new wiki with actual moderation. Any hoaxes in “False Frights” will be in it, even if they’re not “Classic”. Thank you for reading.

Why is There no Moderators or Administrators

Hello! I'm just here to mention that I've been rewriting many of the pages which are for actual hoaxes to have good amounts information for people who actually want to learn about the history of a specific serious hoax (ones not created with the intention of being on this wiki).

I know the Fazbear Execlyopedia and Oddities Wiki exists but that wiki exists for many different forms of fan-created FNAF content and isn't designed specifically for hoaxes unlike this wiki.

I think having serious pages for actual hoaxes and unserious pages for hoaxes intended to be on this wiki makes sense. For newcomers to the wiki, it provides a good separation between the serious and the unserious which helps them know what's a joke and what isn't.

I feel as if a category could be created for serious pages and another could be created for joke pages?

Honestly I came here to fix stuff in another wiki called Fazbear Execlopedia, whose whole deal is being full of exes, creepypastas, VHS, analog series, or weird horror stuff in general.

BUT MAN, a lot of the random stuff here can enter that wiki so well just because of how weird or unsettling they can be.

I'm not calling to delete anything (I'm not a jerk), but I feel like the main page format doesn't really work anymore? Each section has like, a billion characters under it.

I'd say we should at least split each game section up into "classic" and "modern" sections or maybe make different pages for each game. That and maybe add in pictures next to the hoax links, since that'd make it easier for people to find new hoaxes they haven't seen yet.

This page shouldn't exist. It's not a hoax, it's just stolen fan art.

I think the wiki used to have other characters taken from the same person, but they've been taken down at this point, with only Polly remaining.

I know Yellow Freddy doesn't exactly have a lot going on, but that kinda makes it more baffling that a lot of things just... aren't included?

For those who are upset about the current state of the wiki, I do understand

Quite a LOT of pages are poorly made or are not even hoaxes to begin with (not accounting for wikimade hoaxes, which will be getting a tag and will be moved to a different section on the main page to prevent errors)

BUT, do not disrespect the wikimade hoaxes, they are meant to be for fun hoaxes designed to mimic the og hoax style

BUT, to a certain user here who puts fangame characters and deviantart renders on here without permission (you know who you are) you are being asked to clean up your act, or leave

Most notably, multiple pages are stolen from the multiverse custom night wiki, which is NOT okay, do NOT steal other wiki pages

I will admit my first time making a page on this wiki was to prove that the wiki is poorly made, i literally was previously upset at this wiki, but i changed my feelings

I fell in love with the horribly made original hoaxes, and the really stupid stuff made on this wiki, but there's a line

Do not steal art or wiki pages if you wish to make pages, actually finish pages instead of leaving them in the dust

Put actual effort, wikimade or actual hoax

I will remove the non-hoaxes from this wiki, and likely make a page pointing out the non-hoaxes on this wiki (or just use the already existing page)

Don't expect this wiki to be serious, but the actual real hoaxes need some more effort i do agree with some detractors on that

I’ve noticed that 20-40% of the entries labeled as “hoaxes” on the wiki aren’t actually hoaxes. Instead, many are:

• Fan-made characters or creations that the original creators fabricated and then labeled as hoaxes.

• Characters taken from fan games but aren't classified as hoaxes.

• Images or content are stolen from DeviantArt or other sources without credit, or with minimal effort like “TBA” or just the creator’s name with no info. Literally one to two sentences of useless information of the "hoax" character.

This ruins the actual purpose of the wiki, which should focus on hoaxes, not just fan-made content or self-created characters.

I believe the creators of the wiki have had their accounts disabled or abandoned the wiki possibly due to violations or other unknown reasons.

If the original creators are still around (though it’s a 99.99% they’ll see this), please consider cleaning up the wiki. I understand it’s a big task, but the wiki feels like a dumpster fire.

If you plan to create or maintain a wiki about hoaxes:

• Always show clear evidence of creation for the entries.

• Provide descriptions, including appearance and images.

• Focus on actual hoaxes, not just fan-made or fabricated characters such as The Unclassic Animatronics.

An example is Emerald Freddy, created early 2024, who was defended convincingly for a while and has become one of the most popular hoax animatronics. It shows that good hoaxes have impact if created well.

Sorry for the long post, but many people, including me, feel agitated with the state of the wiki. Without care the wiki feels unreliable.
